If you have played the original Yogi, you already know how one card can instantly make everything more complicated. Yogi Guru takes that idea and pushes it further with new colors, new poses and new ways to catch players off guard. The game works on its own, but it can also be mixed with the original Yogi to create even wilder combinations and even funnier rounds.
The familiar orange and green cards are here again, offering fresh physical challenges. Some may ask you to balance the box on your head, move a card continuously while you play or hold a card on your back as you try to manage the rest of the rules. Everything seems simple until several conditions pile up at once.
Yogi Guru introduces two new types of cards as well. Blue cards are rare, but once you get one, the whole round becomes more intense. Before every turn you must remember to perform a specific action, such as tapping your foot against the floor. If you forget, your game ends immediately. This adds a surprising mental twist to a game that already keeps you off balance.
Purple cards work similarly to the orange ones, but with a twist. You don’t know what the effect will be until the player on your right decides for you. It can be gentle or mischievous, so it helps to be on good terms with the person sitting next to you.
