Quoridor Mini is a compact edition of the well-known abstract educational game Quoridor, designed for two to four players. The goal is to move your pawn from your starting side of the board to the opposite edge before the other players, navigating a maze that constantly changes during the game.
The game is played on a wooden board divided into a grid of spaces, with gaps designed for placing walls. On each turn, a player chooses between moving their pawn one space or placing a wall. As walls are added, they reshape the available paths and gradually form a maze that all players must navigate.
One of the core rules of Quoridor is that no player may ever be completely blocked. No matter how many walls are placed, there must always be at least one valid path to the target side of the board. This rule forces players to think carefully, balancing disruption of opponents with their own progress.
In a two-player game, Quoridor Mini becomes a focused strategic duel where anticipation and precise wall placement are essential. With three or four players, the game gains additional interaction, as paths intersect from multiple directions and each decision can influence several players at once.
As a Mini edition, the board and components are smaller in size, while the gameplay and strategic depth remain exactly the same as in the Classic version. All components are made of high-quality wood, giving the game a solid and tactile feel.
