Quoridor Pac-Man is a unique collaboration between two legends. Quoridor is a well-known strategy game where players race to reach the opposite side of the board by finding the best possible route. Pac-Man is the iconic maze runner that defined the golden era of arcades. Combined, they offer two distinct game modes.
The first mode is classic Quoridor, suitable for two to four players. The rules are easy to learn. Players move one space in a straight line and place walls to slow down opponents. They cannot jump over walls, move diagonally or completely trap another player. The goal is to reach the opposite side of the board before anyone else.
The Pac-Man mode changes the structure and adds asymmetrical roles. The game can be played with two to five players. One player becomes Pac-Man and the others become ghosts. Walls are placed according to the setup in the rulebook. Pac-Man moves two spaces each turn and aims to eat all four power pellets. Each pellet grants an additional three movement spaces in any direction.
The ghosts have a different objective. Their mission is to catch Pac-Man three times and send him back to the start. They normally move one space in any direction, but if Pac-Man appears in their line of sight, they move two spaces per turn until they lose track of him.
